Warum wir?

POLARIS Raumflugzeuge GmbH develops innovative transportation systems that redefine access to space for payloads and passengers. As part of our aerial refueling project, we are developing a fully autonomous formation flight capability between tanker and receiver aircraft to perform aerial refueling fully autonomously. To strengthen our team, we are looking for a working student to support our Aerial Refueling Team at our headquarters in Bremen.

Deine Aufgaben

• Responsible for electronics and avionics compartments of the Tanker aircraft
• Support the production and system integration of the tanker aircraft 
• Support in other areas of the aerial refueling project 
• Supporting flight test campaigns

Dein Profil

• Student in aerospace engineering or a related technical field 
• Experience with UAV electronics/controls
• Basic understanding of aircraft manufacturing and integration processes
• Experience in aircraft model making is advantageous
• Solid programming skills, ideally in Python is advantageous
• Excellent analytical skills and willingness to extend own expertise 
• Team player and start-up mentality
