We are continuing to expand our team and are looking to fill the position of Vehicle Certification Engineer (m/f/d).

Your mission

• Support for the certification and flight authorization of drones, hypersonic systems, and spaceplanes (unmanned)
• Analyzing certification requirements and deriving requirements for the design, verification, and operation of hypersonic aircraft
• Collaborating with the relevant aviation authorities for certification and airspace integration and creating new certification procedures where necessary
• Support in testing and verification of applied design standards
• Development of regulatory frameworks or proposals for certification authorities
• Support in implementing new standards in the company infrastructure

Your profile

• Strong Background in Systems Engineering, Flight Safety and Certification Standards
• Several years of professional experience in the field of EASA Initial Airworthiness, EU UAV drone law desirable
• Knowledge of various aerospace standards required (ISO 9001, ISO 9100, etc.)
• Knowledge of aerospace safety and certification requirements (e.g., ARP4754, DO-178C, DO254, etc.)
• Experience in communicating with aerospace certification authorities desirable 
• Excellent analytical and interdisciplinary skills
• fluent English, German desirable
• Proactive mindset, high level of motivation, flexibility, perseverance, and ability to work in a team
